Growing up in North Queensland, Joe’s family is firmly based in financial and rural industries. After studying a Bachelor of Commerce at James Cook University, he joined the Carey Group in 1988, when it was formally known as BJ Carey and Company. Joe commenced in the Ingham office where he gained extensive experience in accounting and taxation across a broad base of industries. Joe strengthened his knowledge and expertise through further studies in Law and Financial Planning. An educational base in commerce, business, law and financial planning has allowed Joe to form a strong foundation in strategic client advice.
Joe Carey is the Managing Director of Carey Property Group. He is committed to developing a broad portfolio of property located in quality and opportune locations. With a broad range of experience, Joe draws upon his experience in owning property, running businesses and consulting to economic, sporting and community enterprises to make decisions in relation to property. Joe has a detailed understanding of the property market, particularly within the north Queensland region and his opinion is highly regarded in making business decisions.
